Mitchell Excited By Motorbase Opportunity

1 Mins read

Ginetta Junior Championship leader Jack Mitchell is looking forward to what the future may hold with his partnership with front-running touring car and GT outfit Motorbase, who have signed him up to their Junior Programmme for 2014.

Mitchell follows in the footsteps of fellow Kent teenagers Jake Hill, Tom Grainger and Bethany Abbott in receiving supporting from the Wrotham-based outfit.

Running with the same Airwaves livery as Motorbase’s BTCC Focuses, Mitchell has enjoyed a superb 2014 season so far, winning the first four Ginetta Junior races in a row to build a 47 point championship lead.

“It’s a very big opportunity for me,” Mitchell told TCF. “I’ve got all the Motorbase team helping me, they’re watching me race and I’ve got a lot of support from them, I honestly can’t thank the team enough for everything they’ve done for me so far.

“If I carry on the way I’m performing now, it’ll be exciting to see what will happen at the end of the year and in the future.”
