Norris Leads HHC Motorsport Lock-Out

1 Mins read

Lando Norris and James Kellett helped HHC Motorsport claim a front row lock out in the Ginetta Junior Championship qualifying at Croft.

This was Norris’ first ever pole in Ginetta Juniors, he set a time of 1.40.464 to finish a mere 0.017s ahead of his team-mate Kellett.

The HHC Motorsport pair were trading fastest times at the front of the grid throughout the session and were over half a second faster than the chasing pack at one point.

Kellett briefly had pole on his fifth flying lap but Norris quickly snatched it away.

Championship leader Jack Mitchell finished the session third just 0.077s behind second placed Kellett.

JHR Developments driver Jamie Chadwick was impressive throughout the session and continued to move up the grid. Chadwick ended the session in fourth place, with a time of 1.41.023 ahead of R & J Motorsports Ryan Hadfield.

Chadwicks team-mate Dan Zelos followed Hadfield in sixth while the TCR of Jamie Caroline finished seventh.

Alex Sedgwick, Senna Proctor and Jonathan Hadfield rounded out the top ten.
