Cardoso “Unlikely” To Return To Juniors This Season

1 Mins read

Brazilian rookie Pedro Cardoso is unlikely to return to the Ginetta Junior Championship this season, according to Hillspeed team boss Richard Ollerenshaw.

Cardoso competed with Hillspeed throughout the first half of the 2014 campaign and impressed with three top ten finishes that left him 15th in the standings at the halfway mark.

Unfortunately though, the 15 year old was forced to miss the latest rounds at Snetterton at the weekend due to budget difficulties, and Ollerenshaw feels a return is unlikely at present.

“Pedro’s deal remains in place and he has a car and entry for the rest of the season, but needs to address his budget issues before he can return to the UK to compete,” he said.

“Going on present discussions this appears to be unlikely, but we will see how things progress in the next few weeks.”
