The Ginetta Junior Championship has a new title sponsor in ‘KICK Start Energy’ for the final two meetings of the 2014 season.

Ginetta have agreed a partnership with drinks business Global Brands to see the series rebranded as the ‘KICK Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship’ for the remainder of the year.

The Junior championship has been enjoying a strong 2014 season, with a three-way championship battle heading into the final four races of the year, headed by Jack Mitchell.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with KICK Start Energy for the final two rounds of the KICK Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship, it’s a perfect fit given both brands’ commitment to product quality and innovation,” said Ashley Gallagher, Ginetta Championships Manager.

Kick

The ‘Kick Energy’ brand has been present within motorsport for a number of years, with a presence in British and World Superbikes alongside Global Brands chairman Steve Perez competing regularly in national and international rallying with the Kick Energy rally team.

The announcement to support the Junior Championship comes after Ginetta’s works G55 GT3 car carried the branding of Global Brands’ product Amigos Beer during the finale of the British GT Championship at Donington Park earlier this month.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for KICK Start Energy to support a rapidly growing and popular championship, in addition to strengthening our ties within motorsport,” added Simon Green, Global Brands Marketing Director.

“The Ginetta Junior championship is one of the only opportunities for young drivers to kick start their motorsport careers which is exactly what our brand is all about.”
