BTCC Trio Named Ginetta Scholarship Instructors

1 Mins read

British Touring Car Championship stars Adam Morgan, Tom Ingram and Jack Goff have been named as instructors for this year’s Ginetta Junior Scholarship competition, to be held at Bedford Autodrome later this month.

80 karting talents from across the UK will take part in the competition, with the prize for the victor being a fully funded season in the 2015 Ginetta Junior Championship worth £60,000.

Three-time Ginetta champion Ingram will be on the judging panel for the third consecutive year, fellow GT Supercup champion Morgan returns for a second year, while Goff will be judging for the first time.

“To be part of the Ginetta Junior Scholarship panel for the third year is very fulfilling as I can see the potential in many young drivers,” said Ingram.

The prize is a once in lifetime opportunity that drivers should embrace as there is nothing like it available elsewhere. I wish this year’s Scholarship competitors the very best of luck.”

Former winners of the competition include current category front-runners Alex Sedgwick (2014) and Jamie Chadwick (2013), British GT competitor Oliver Basey-Fisher (2012) and BRDC Formula 4 race-winner Sennan Fielding (2011).

“I can’t wait to meet the next generation of car drivers looking to win this brilliant prize which will see one lucky young driver walk away from the experience with their feet firmly on the car racing ladder,” added Goff.

“Both Adam and Tom have shown just how much help Ginetta can give to young up and coming drivers so I am sure it’s going to be extremely tough competition.”
