Wallace And Hillspeed On Winter Series Grid

1 Mins read

Benjamin Wallace will be in action during the 2014 Kick Start Energy Ginetta Junior Winter Series next month at Snetterton with Hillspeed.

The 15 year old will use the mini-championship as the chance to get more track time in his Ginetta G40J after competing in three rounds of the series this year.

The Anglo-German joined the grid for his car-racing debut at Snetterton in August, taking a top twelve finish in only his second race, before returning for the season-concluding rounds at Silverstone and Brands Hatch.

After taking three fourteenth place finishes in the final four races, Wallace is now focusing on a strong Winter Series outing to help attract sponsors to enable him to make a full assault on the series next year.

“I really enjoyed my three weekends in Ginetta Junior this year, I learnt a huge amount with the guys at Hillspeed, with a lot of fantastic support and help from driver coach Matt Shawyer, and they really helped me to improve my driving and competitiveness,” commented Wallace.

“We’re working really hard to be back on the grid in 2015 and build on the great start we made this season. It’s a tough championship so we need to try and do as much running as possible over the winter before next season.”
