Green Signs Up For Full Ginetta Junior Campaign

1 Mins read

Ben Green will tackle the full Kick Start Energy Ginetta Junior Championship season for the first time this year, joining the grid with series newcomers Supergreen Racing.

Green made his Ginetta race debut in the 2014 Winter Series at Snetterton, adapting well to his Ginetta G40 to post a best finish of tenth

Prior to that the 16 year old, who has received some coaching from reigning Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup vice-champion David Pittard, completed the official Friday pre-event testing at Brands Hatch prior to the 2014 season finale.

“I’m really looking forward to making the move from karting to cars, this is the ideal way to start my sportscar racing career,” said Green.

“I know it will very much be a learning year, but I hope to consistently finish inside the top 10 and challenge for the Rookie honours.”
