1 Mins read

Dunlop Tyres have today announced that they will once again be the official tyre partner of the Isle Of Man TT in 2015.

As part of the new agreement, the tyre manufacturer will also become official sponsors of the Classic TT.

Dunlop enjoyed a lot of success at last year’s TT event, taking 13 out of a possible 15 podium finishes available to them across the Superbike, Superstock and Supersport classes.

Meanwhile over in the 2014 Classic TT, Bruce Anstey rode his Grand Prix YZR500 Yamaha, fitted with Dunlop tyres, to victory.

Dunlop’s Brand Manager, Tony Ward, said: Dunlop is a company that was born to win. Ever since John Boyd Dunlop invented the pneumatic tyre to give his son competitive advantage in a tricycle race more than 125 years ago, Dunlop has been racing to win at event such as the Isle of Man TT.

“We are delighted to extend our association with the Isle of Man by becoming sponsor of the Classic TT, an event that continues to build momentum in the industry year on year.”

The 2015 Classic TT will take place between August 29-31 as part of the Isle Of Man Festival of Motorcycling.
