Matheo Tuscher will remain with Jenzer Motorsport for a second season in the GP3 Series, and will be joined by fellow Swiss driver Ralph Boschung.
Tuscher, still only eighteen-years-old, joined the team for the 2014 season, and finished on the podium in race two of the opening round at the Circuit de Catalunya, and will be hoping to build on a number of impressive performances this time around with a championship challenge.
Seventeen-year-old Boschung steps up from the ADAC Formel Masters series, where he debuted in 2013 with Team KUG Motorsport, winning one of the races at the Slovakia Ring, before moving to the Lotus-branded Team Motopark team for 2014. He participated in the post-Abu Dhabi test with Jenzer Motorsport at the end of 2015, and now moves into the series full-time.
Team Principal Andreas Jenzer was delighted to have been able to retain Tuscher and to be able to hire Boschung for the 2015 season.
“With Mathéo and Ralph in the team we already have two strong drivers and are convinced we can achieve top level results with both of them,” said Jenzer.
“We are very motivated and will do our best to make this a successful season”.
The announcement of the team’s third driver will be made at a later date. In 2014, the team ran Pal Varhaug full-time alongside Tuscher, with the third seat being shared by Adderly Fong, Christopher Hoher and Kevin Ceccon.
