1 Mins read

Sennan Fielding won race two of the MSA Formula weekend at Oulton Park this afternoon, his first ever MSA Formula win.

Daniel Baybutt started from pole, but Fielding soon took the lead after starting in 3rd. By the end of the first lap, Fielding led by three seconds ahead of Baybutt and Matheus Leist. The latter moved up into 2nd on the following lap, but was still 3.2 seconds off the lead.

Baybutt was pushed back to fourth place next, after being overtaken by Daniel Ticktum on lap 4. Petru Florescu was then awarded a drive through penalty for an out of position start.

There were no position changes at the front for the remainder of the race, and after 15 laps, Fielding won the race by 2 seconds ahead of Leist. A further 8 seconds behind was Ticktum, followed by Baybutt, Jack Barlow, Colton Herta, Rafael Martins and Lando Norris. Race 1 winner Ricky Collard finished 9th, ahead of Tarun Reddy.

Race 3 will take place tomorrow at 14:50.
