Free Fans’ Thursday to kick-off British Superbike Brands Hatch meeting

A special event has been announced for MCE British Superbike fans which will give them free access to their favourite riders at Brands Hatch.

The Monster Energy Fans’ Thursday will kick-off round six of the championship, also known as the ‘Big Brands Bash’, at the Kent circuit on Thursday 16 July.

This will be the second edition of the special event, which made its debut at the same race meeting during the 2014 season.

The circuit’s gates will open to fans on midday, and they will be able to meet the BSB riders at the special Monster Energy rig located at Clark Curve throughout the afternoon.

The championship’s top riders will be taking part in live Q&A sessions with British Eurosport’s superbike presenter Matt Roberts before taking the time to pose for photographs and sign autographs with the fans.

Those in attendance will also be able to access the pit lane which will be opens 15:00 for two hours. This will give fans a great insight into all of the team’s preparations ahead of a race weekend, as they set-up their garages and machinery.

To end the event there will be a special opportunity to go onto the famous circuit itself, with an official track walk taking place between 17:00 and 18:00.

The race weekend will then officially begin the following day, with BSB riders taking to the 2.3mile circuit to take part in their first free practice sessions.
