Race Performance to Enter 2015/16 Asian Le Mans Series

1 Mins read

Swiss LMP2 team Race Performance has confirmed its entry for the upcoming 2015/16 Asian Le Mans Series.

The team, run by Michel Frey, finished sixth in last year’s competitive European Le Mans Series using an Oreca 03R chassis.

The same chassis took part in his year’s official 24 Hours of Le Mans test day as first reserve, under the KCMG moniker.

It is believed that Race Performance will use the same Oreca in the ACO-sanctioned Asian Le Mans Series, which gets underway in October.

The first round of the championship will take place at Fuji, with a two hour support race for the FIA World Endurance Championship. Three hour rounds at Sepang (x2) and Thailand’s Buriram circuit will complete the four race calendar, concluding in late January.
