Brandon Maïsano Joins Campos Racing for Monza

Frenchman Brandon Maïsano will race for Campos Racing at the upcoming GP3 Series round at Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.

Maïsano, a former Ferrari Academy driver, will team up with Spain’s Alex Palou and Kuwaiti driver Zaid Ashkanani for the sixth round of the 2015 season.

The young Frenchman, is highly rated with some of his career highlights including: Karting triumphs such as South Garda Winter Cup, Trofeo Andrea Margutti, Monaco Kart Cup CIK-FIA or Copa Campeones. More recently, Maïsano took Campionato Italiano Formula ACI CSAI Abarth title in 2010 and, last year, he was crowned champion in Italy´s Formula 4 Series.

He most recently raced in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship with Prema Powerteam, but quit the team mid-way through the Red Bull Ring weekend last month.

Alfonso Celis Jr, fresh off his maiden series podium last time out at Spa-Francorchamps, is set to miss this weekend’s races as he is set to prioritise his Formula Renault 3.5 Series commitments with AVF, who race at Silverstone simultaneously.  His ART Grand Prix outfit is set to race with only two cars for Esteban Ocon and Marvin Kirchhofer.
