More Items Added To Justin Wilson Charity Auction

1 Mins read

A wide range of new items have been added to the charity auction currently taking place in memory of Justin Wilson.

The auction was launched on eBay a week ago with the hope of raising over $1 million for the Wilson’s Children’s Fund.

The opening lots for the auction were 19 IndyCar race helmets, with the bids for 2015 champion Scott Dixon’s signed title-winning helmet currently topping $17,000.

Amongst the new items is the helmet Jenson Button wore in this year’s Canadian Grand Prix, as well as race-worn overalls from his McLaren-Honda team-mate Fernando Alonso and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo.

The Nascar community have shown their support, with signed overalls up for auction from the likes of Jimmie Johnson, Michael Waltrip, Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton, alongside other memorabilia including signed helmet visors.

Other items available to be bid on include overalls from IndyCar stars Dixon and Marco Andretti, a GP2 helmet from Stefano Colletti and overalls from Global Rallycross ace Scott Speed.
