Senna Proctor says he is ready to go ‘maximum attack’ in the Ginetta Junior Championship season finale next weekend at Brands Hatch.

The Team BMR-backed racer battled to a pair of second place finishes last weekend at Silverstone to reduce the deficit at the top of the standings heading into the final two races.

While points leader Jamie Caroline won the opening race on the penultimate weekend, a tough second race saw him finish up down in sixteenth place.

That means only seventeen points separate the two at the top of the standings on dropped scores ahead of the races around the Kent venue’s iconic Grand Prix circuit.

Proctor took a best of seventh place at the track twelve months ago, but is confident of much better results this time out as he aims to win the championship title.

“I came into Silverstone weekend looking to close the deficit and I’ve done just that. The weekend has really helped my championship chances,” Proctor told TCF.

“I’ve secured second in the championship now, so my only focus going to Brands Hatch is making sure I beat Jamie and doing whatever I can to do that. I’m very confident going into the weekend that I can out-race him there.

“We’ve got to qualify sensibly, as it’s normally changeable conditions at Brands and we need to make sure we put ourselves in a position that we can go on maximum attack in the races. I’m looking forward to it. “
