A provisional calendar has been released in Jerez for the 2016 RPM-run Formula Renault 3.5 Series, with six of the nine venues on the 2015 schedule remaining on the calendar.
Monaco, the Nurburgring and the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans have all lost their place, with races at Paul Ricard, Monza and the Circuit de Catalunya all being added to the schedule in their place.
The season looks set to start with a trip to Motorland Aragon on April 16-17 2016 in support to the European Le Mans Series, with a supporting role to the World Touring Car Championship at the Hungaroring then following a week later.
The series then makes a trip to Spa-Francorchamps in May 21-22 in the first of their five supporting rounds of the GT Open, with races later in the season at Silverstone, the Red Bull Ring, Monza and Barcelona also supporting the same championship.
Only round four of the championship at Paul Ricard, which supports the Blancpain Endurance Series, and the finale in Jerez, which runs in conjunction with EuroFormula Open, do not run with the GT Open championship.
