Team HARD And JamSport Racing Enter New Partnership

1 Mins read

Team HARD and JamSport Racing have announced they are entering a new joint team partnership from 2016 which they hope will provide their drivers with a clear pathway through British motorsport.

Team HARD head into 2016 planning to add a British GT campaign to their existing BTCC, Volkswagen Racing Cup and VAG Trophy entries, while JamSport Racing will continue competing in the Renault UK Clio Cup and BRSCC Fiesta Junior and Senior Championships.

The teams hope their partnership will provide opportunities for drivers from karting through to the biggest championships in the UK. While both outfits will continue to run their separate entries, they will share technical and engineering resources, as well as collectively offer full management, media and sponsorship services.

“This is a major development for everyone involved at Team HARD. The fact that we can now offer a drive at each and every level of motorsport is a huge statement for us, and joining forces with Jamsport racing has allowed us to do just that,” said team owner Tony Gilham

“All of our existing drivers will now already be part of something very special and unique whilst opening doors that would have not been possible before. This will make us a very strong pairing and a force to be reckoned with in British motorsport. I am genuinely excited about what the future holds for us all and very keen to see who will be the latest drivers to join us moving forwards.”

Jamsport owner Jamie Going added: Both myself and the rest of Jamsport Racing are very excited for the new opportunities that have arisen with working alongside Tony and Team HARD.

“With our great success this year with Fiestas and great progression within the Clio Cup, it opens up opportunities for us to move and progress further in motorsport and give our drivers more options to move further up the motorsport ladder.”
