Priaulx Confirms 2016 Junior Campaign With JHR

1 Mins read

Following impressive showings in the Scholarship and Winter Series contests in recent months, Sebastian Priaulx will mount a challenge on the Ginetta Junior Championship next season with JHR Developments.

The 14 year old, son of three-time World Touring Car champion Andy, made his car-racing debut last month at Snetterton during the annual Winter Series, immediately impressing in his JHR-run Ginetta G40J with three Rookie Class podiums across the weekend.

That came after Priaulx narrowly lost out on a fully-funded Juniors season during October’s Ginetta Scholarship competition, and with all the experience so far under his belt he hopes to be a Rookie Cup front-runner next season.

Priaulx said: “I’ve had a great time with Ginetta already, in both the Scholarship and the Winter Series, so now I’m really keen to get going with the main championship! The car is great to drive and hopefully we can add to the strong results we had in the Winter Series.”
