Graham Field will once again by challenging for the Masters Cup honours in the Renault UK Clio Cup this season, but he will do so with a different team after joining the JamSport Racing outfit.

The 56 year old achieved a maiden Masters victory last season with 20Ten Racing, taking to the top step of the podium at Oulton Park in June.

Eight further class podium finishes secured him second in the final standings, having previously finished in the class top three in his previous full campaign in 2013.

Field is JamSport’s fourth confirmed driver for the 2016 campaign as he teams up with series front-runners Ant Whorton-Eales and Tom Grundy, as well as championship newcomer Scott Robertson.

Field said: “JamSport have very clear aspirations and having Ant on board after he was a title contender last year as well is a big draw in particular – he and Tom will be real benchmarks and can help me to further develop as a driver. That is a big motivation for me.”

We’re really looking forward to seeing just how far as a team we can bring Graham in 2016,” commented JamSport team principal Jamie Going.

“He’s clear about what’s important to him and it will bring us on as a team too if we can help him achieve his goals. It sets us another challenge and it’s one we hope can lead to some really good on-track results with him.”
