Synchro Motorsport readying Civic for Dunlop Endurance Championship

1 Mins read

Synchro Motorsport are readying their distinctive black Honda Civic for the Dunlop Endurance Championship at the first round of the year.

Having undergone a relaunch at Honda’s UK base in Swindon, the team are more fired up than ever before with support amongst the base’s workers as high as it has ever been.

That means the team is on solid ground to launch the newest generation Honda Civic Type R at the first round of the Dunlop Endurance Championship season at Silverstone on the last weekend of March.

The team’s lead driver Alyn James said: “We have a couple of test days lined up at Castle Combe before the race so we are aiming to arrive at Silverstone for the first round with a great new car and a revitalised team. We are looking forward to being part of Britcar again with some great competition and close racing in the new Civic Type R.”

Almost like fate, the new Civic will be taking to the newly relaunched Britcar Dunlop Endurance Championship which features a calendar of two-to-four hour endurance races at circuits across the UK such as Snetterton, Croft, Donington Park and an into-the-night race at Brands Hatch to round out the season.
