Second Junior Race Postponed At Rockingham

1 Mins read

The scheduled running of the second Ginetta Junior Championship race at Rockingham has been postponed following a violent storm at the Corby circuit.

A stark increase in wind speed and rainfall following the preceding Renault UK Clio Cup race led to the series organisers electing to delay the start of the race.

Despite the weather conditions improving, a combination of standing water on circuit and the Ginetta G40’s not running with headlights led to the logical decision being made to postpone the race.

Round Nineteen is now scheduled to run at 09:30 tomorrow morning, with Round Twenty following live on ITV4 at 14:37.
