Ex-Ginetta Junior Taylforth Set For Second Hyundai Season

1 Mins read

Ginetta Junior Championship graduate Will Taylforth will once again compete in the Carbon8 Hyundai Couple Cup next season with the Exit 13 squad.

Taylforth debuted in the Juniors at the end of 2013, before contesting the majority of rounds the next season with HHC Motorsport, taking a best finish of sixth on three occasions.

The 18 year old entered the Coupe Cup at the start of this season, and has been a regular feature towards the front of the grid – setting the series record as the youngest ever podium finisher.

Running with backing from Barnsley College, Taylforth has finished on the podium in exactly half of the twelve races so far this season in the BARC-run championship.

Taylforth’s best weekend so far came with a pair of second places at Thruxton in June, and he now heads into next month’s Silverstone season finale (8/9 October) with race wins in his sights.
