Scott Anderson makes GRC Lites move with CORE autosport

1 Mins read

Scott Anderson will make his Red Bull Global Rallycross début at Evergreen Speedway this weekend, racing in GRC Lites for CORE autosport.

The Colorado native has previous experience in USF2000, Pro Mazda, and Indy Lights, but his GRC bow this weekend will be his first time competing in a rallycross event.

“I’ve been eyeing Global Rallycross a lot over the past couple of years. It looks like the most fun one could have in a race car, and I’ve wanted to try out some sort of rally, so this is the most excited I’ve been in a long time,” said Anderson. “I’ve had less seat time this year than I have had in my career. I’m really itching to get started with CORE autosport this week.”

“All of us at CORE autosport are excited to have Scott Anderson join our team for the upcoming Red Bull Global Rallycross events,” added team owner and GRC Lites driver Jon Bennett. “Scott’s successful racing experience in open wheel racing will be the foundation to his success in this competitive series. We value Scott’s fresh perspective and look forward to his feedback improving our entire program.”
