Scott Speed gets new sponsor for Seattle

1 Mins read

Scott Speed will have a new sponsor for this weekend’s Red Bull Global Rallycross round at Evergreen Speedway.

Oberto All Natural Beef Jerky will serve as the primary sponsor on the reigning champion’s Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross Beetle at the Seattle event, following on from Special operations Warrior Foundation and series tyre supplier BF Goodrich who have previously served as Speed’s primary sponsor this season.

“I’m really excited to have Oberto on board with us for Seattle,” said Speed. “We have a mega streak going and are pushing hard to defend our championship title. Like they say, ‘You get what you put in’ – and we’ve been putting in our all. I can’t wait to see the Oberto Circle K VW team onto the podium this weekend!”

“Our relationship with Oberto has been developing over the last year, and we are really pleased to have them join us for their hometown race in Seattle,” added team owner Michael Andretti. “Oberto is a great fit for the VARX team, and I have no double we’ll see a successful future together.”
