Ginetta Junior Trio Enjoy G55 Test Opportunity

1 Mins read

Reigning Ginetta Junior Champion Will Tregurtha and his 2016 team-mates Charlie Fagg and Lewis Brown got the chance to test a Ginetta G55 GT4 for the first time at Donington Park this week.

Ginetta provided G55’s in British GT Championship and Ginetta GT4 Supercup specifications for the trio to get to grips with as part of an official customer test day at the Leicestershire circuit.

Also on track was some Ginetta G57 prototypes, with a number of drivers getting the chance to test those, including former Junior graduates Ollie Chadwick, Jack Mitchell, Ben Green and Andrew Watson.

Tregurtha:That was the most fun I’ve ever had full stop. The car is ridiculously fast, you can feel all the aerodynamics and I know there’s more speed I can get out of the car the longer I spend behind the wheel.”

Fagg: “I was really impressed with the car and I think Ginetta have done a great job in creating the next level of car for people looking to take the next step up. The transition from a junior to a senior car is a quite smooth one and the G55 is simply astonishing.”

Brown: “It was great to be able to sample the next car on the Ginetta motorsport career ladder. It is so different speed-wise to the G40 but it handles really well and the power application is just unreal. An awesome bit of kit!”
