Scholar Smalley Picks JHR For 2017

1 Mins read

2017 Ginetta Junior Scholarship winner Adam Smalley has announced he will drive for JHR Developments in his maiden campaign in the BTCC support championship.

The fifteen year old beat over 50 other drivers to win the Scholarship contest at Blyton Park last month, having impressed the judges across the driving, fitness and media assessments.

After assessing his options with recent tests at Thruxton with JHR and with HHC Motorsport at Oulton Park, Smalley has chosen to run with 2014 and 2015 Teams champions JHR for his Scholarship year.

Smalley follows in the footsteps of former Scholars Jamie Chadwick and Alex Sedgwick by running with JHR, with the last two, Stuart Middleton and Daniel Harper, having raced with Douglas Motorsport.

Smalley announced the news on Twitter, saying: “Very happy to announce that I have joined JHR Developments for next year! Roll on 2017! #weareginetta”
