Ginetta have announced the details for their 2018 Junior Scholarship contest, which will once again see one young driver win a fully-funded season of racing.

The annual competition will take place over the 25-27 October at Blyton Park in Lincolnshire, with the winner receiving free entry into the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship.

The Scholarship contest entrants will be tested on their driving ability, as well as encountering fitness assessments and media interviews.

In order to be eligible, the entrant’s date of birth must fall between 01/01/2002 and 21/03/2004, and they cannot have previously entered an MSA circuit car race.

The 2018 winner will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Jamie Chadwick, Stuart Middleton, Daniel Harper and current scholar Adam Smalley.

Harper made history last season as the first scholar to win the Rookie class title and secure outright race wins in his maiden campaign in the series.

Four drivers from last year’s Scholarship top twelve are currently on this season’s grid, with Matt Luff, Tom Canning and Ruben Del Sarte joining Smalley.

More information on how to enter can be found at www.ginetta.com.
