Sebastian Priaulx completed a sensational day in the Ginetta Junior Championship at Croft by taking another commanding lights-to-flag victory in race two.
Replicating his performance in the day’s opening race, the JHR Developments racer stormed clear from pole position ahead of Daniel Harper, Kiern Jewiss and Tom Gamble.
There was some drama in the pack behind on the opening lap as Tom Canning and Finley Green were left in the Clervaux gravel trap, though a quick exit meant no safety car was needed.
Priaulx would immediately edge clear of the group behind, with their battling allowing him to go on and build a three second lead within the opening four laps.
From then on Priaulx would cruise to a 3.635s victory to secure his fourth consecutive victory and set himself up for a potentially historic hat-trick of wins in tomorrow’s final race.
Harper would run second for only a lap and a half, before contact from team-mate Jewiss sent him off circuit at the high-speed Esses, dropping him back to fifth position.
Jewiss would go on to maintain second position to the chequered flag for his fifth consecutive overall podium finish, with championship leader Gamble completing the rostrum.
Harper would eventually slip to sixth at the finish meanwhile behind Harry Dyson and Tom Wood, with Adam Smalley in seventh ahead of Jordan Collard.
Harry King took ninth meanwhile despite an early moment at the chicane causing visibility to be limited in his mud-splattered G40, with Charlie Digby completing the top ten.
