Following the completion of the GP3 Series round at the Hungaroring, Matthieu Vaxiviere and Marcos Siebert were handed time penalties.
The pair had twenty seconds added to their final race times after it was deemed that they had infringed rules regarding slowing for the virtual safety car period.
Campos Racing rookie Siebert had been classified eighth, his best result in the series to date, with this decision dropping him to ninth and out of the points paying positions.
As a result Arjun Maini moved up to eighth, taking the final point on offer.
On his debut weekend, Vaxiviere finished the Sprint Race in eleventh place but lost one place to drop to twelfth, promoting championship leader George Russell in what had been a difficult weekend for the young Briton.
The race was won by Ferrari Driver Academy member Giuliano Alesi, who led a 1-2-3-4 for Trident.
The series now heads into its summer break with Russell leading the championship ahead of ART Grand Prix team-mates Jack Aitken, Anthoine Hubert and Nirei Fukuzumi. Alesi completes the top five drivers in the standings.
Racing resumes in just over five weeks time when the series heads to Belgium to take on the iconic Spa-Francorchamps.
