Max Coates, Brett Lidsey and Jack Young are set to represent the United Kingdom in the International Renault Clio Cup Final at Paul Ricard on the 3/4 November.

Renault are bringing together the best of the Clio Cup competitors around the world to find the best driver. The winner of the Grand Final, which will be a twenty-five minute plus one lap race, will be awarded a Mégane Renault Sport.

The other countries being represented at Paul Ricard are France, Italy, Spain, Germany, ‘Central Europe’ and China.

Initially, there were six drivers from the UK series heading to this race. However, a multitude of reasons including budget restraints saw the entry being opened to drivers on the grid who fancied their chance of going up against the best that the Clio Cup can offer.

Coates impressed in the 2018 Renault UK Clio Cup season with second overall in the championship. Meanwhile, Brett Lidsey and Jack Young drove well for MRM and provided exciting action for the crowds and TV audience when the races took place.
