TWR Teecheetah to run retro inspired livery for Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY

1 Mins read

Leading Formula E team Teecheetah recently signed a deal with the legendary Tom Walkinshaw Racing engineering firm and will be bringing back an iconic look for the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series .

Based on the livery that adorned the 1988 24 hours of Le Mans race winning Jaguar XJR, the iconic purple yellow and white will be seen on track this weekend supporting the Mexico City ePrix.

While the deal with TWR and Teecheetah is relatively new, Mark Preston has had a relationship TWR since 1996, having worked alongside Tom Walkinshaw at Arrows F1.

“We’re incredibly proud of our collaboration with TWR and this livery is synonymous with their engineering excellence and success across motorsport categories.” said Keith Smout, TWR TECHEETAH Team Principal.

“Together, we’re pushing to continue this history of winning into the all-electric era, as we push to become the inaugural champions of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY.”

“We know that there is a real affinity for retro liveries amongst fans, can’t wait to see the response that our cars get at this weekend’s race.”
