One of the longest-running Supercar teams in the FIA European Rallycross Championship and RallyX Nordic have unveiled their new liveries for the 2020 season.

Hedströms Motorsport, managed by the Euro RX and RallyX Nordic legend Peter Hedström, will be fielding two Volkswagen Polo Supercars for the 2020 campaign in Euro RX and RallyX Nordic, while the second car will be shared.

The team has signed the 2017 FIA WRC2 champion Pontus Tidemand to pilot the newly acquired Volkswagen Polo from Marklund Motorsport, which Anton Marklund used to triumph to a runner-up place in the 2018 Euro RX championship. Tidemand will be doing a full-season campaign in the Euro RX and possibly in the RallyX Nordic.

Hedström and Christer Dalmans will be piloting the older Volkswagen Polo Supercars as wildcards in the RallyX Nordic series, Dalmans has been involved with the team for the past few seasons in the RallyX Nordic. Hedström is also set to make some appearances in the Euro RX.

For this season the team has chosen a new colour scheme, for the last season they have used a full-yellow body paint with blacked-out parts. This year the cars are paying full tribute to their home country of Sweden with blue and yellow waves spread out over the white painted body alongside the sponsors of Schacktmiljö and Kraftverksbyggarna i Söderhamn AB are highlighted on the doors.

The team has been testing at Höljes recently, and there is a chance that they will be entering in the All-Star ‘Magic Weekend’ on 2-5 July.
