This weekend the final RX2 International Series event will take place at Nysum in Denmark, where the winner of the one-off event will receive a fully-funded single-round entry into the upcoming FIA eRX2 Championship electric support series next year.

Several drivers with Supercar Lites experience will make the move over for this weekend, with one of these being Gustav Johansson who reached a final place in the class at Arvika last time out so he will be for sure will be one to watch out for.

A newcomer for the event is 38-year-old French Super 1600 legend Grégory Fosse, who will be making his debut with the Supercar Lites powerhouse Olsbergs MSE.

33-year-old Martin Jansson has become one of the RallyX Nordic regulars but he hasn’t entered that many RX2 rounds before, so he could be one of the drivers that can chase down the title this weekend if everything goes in his favour.

The oldest driver in the field, 43-year-old Mats Oskarsson shocked all at the All-Star ‘Magic Weekend’ earlier this summer when he claimed a second place finish and could be set to turn that pace into a strong result again this weekend.

The Flying Finn, Jesse Kallio is currently sitting tied on points in the top of the RallyX Nordic championship standings, and will compete in both series’ this weekend.

Supercar Lites veteran Simon Olofsson, similarly to Kallio could be looking to take home two titles this weekend. He took the RallyX Nordic win at Höljes earlier this season but he has often found himself on the receiving end of ill-fortune in the past.

19-year-old Martin Enlund has only made one appearance in RX2 before at Höljes last year, where he stunned all by going third quickest in the first qualifying and posted the fastest lap time four times in a row in the semi-final.

Henrik Krogstad is sitting tied on points and sharing the top of the standings with Kallio, Krogstad is also eyeing two titles this weekend and hopefully his first RX2 win of his career. Krogstad has been active in RX2 in the past and missed out a maiden win at Lohéac in 2018 when he was spun around, and for this year he made his comeback joining the all-new #YellowSquad team.

Jimmie Walfridson, one of the rallycross drivers coming out from the famous Walfridson family has won a championship title in the national Norwegian Crosskart Championship and since that been active in the Supercar Lites for the last year and is hoping for a strong result.

Niklas Aneklev made his switch over to rallycross from enduro motorcycle racing back in 2019 with Olsbergs MSE, as well as doing two outings earlier. This season Aneklev has improved his pace and could challenge the top drivers for a win.

The Belgian Guillaume de Ridder is making his RX2 return this weekend, after he joined the series back in 2017. The next year he took a hat-trick of wins and he was in the hunt for the championship. After being away for one year making his Supercar debut in the World RX, the Belgian is back for one more go in the championship.

Hans-Ola Frøshaug, the son of former Supercar driver Ola Frøshaug, has been active in the Folkrace before he made his step up to RX2 last season in RallyX Nordic and in his transition year he reached the semi-final five times out of seven starts.

Youngest driver of them all is the Czech driver Dan Skocdopole, coming from a karting background and has been doing some wildcard appearances in the Italian and German rallycross championships. He made his Supercar debut last season in the RallyX Nordic at Tierp Arena and for this season he has showed great pace when he made his Supercar Lites debut at Höljes earlier this summer.

The whole weekend can be followed live on RallyX Nordic’s website where Andrew Coley, Hal Ridge and co-host Neil Cole will be guiding you through all of the action.
