Mark Webber took his second win of 2012 by snatching victory from Fernando Alonso in the British Grand Prix.

Speaking after claiming pole position for tomorrow’s British Grand Prix, ​Fernando Alonso ​said that his thoughts were with compatriot ​Maria De Villota​, who was severely injured while testing for ​Marussia​ last week.

Fernando Alonso took pole position at Silverstone – Ferrari’s first since Singapore 2010 – in a qualifying session that lasted over two-and-a-half hours.
