Force India announce launch plans

1 Mins read

Force India have announced plans to unveil the new VJM03 via an online presentation on 9 February, before it’s on-track debut at the official test session in Jerez the following day.

Video footage, studio photos and interviews with the team will be posted on the team’s website www.forceindiaf1.com at 10:00 CET.

The Force India team surprised the Formula 1 world in the later half of the 2009 season after Fisichella secured second spot on the podium in Belgium and Sutil took fourth in Italy.

The main driver line-up remains as it ended last season with Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi taking charge of on-track duties. Paul di Resta was announced yesterday as reserve driver after impressing in the young driver tests at Jerez in December and the team hopes to send the young Scot out on track on the Friday practice sessions to get some hands-on experience at the current Formula 1 tracks.
