Sebastian Vettel topped the timesheets in Barcelona for the second competitive day as he completed 104 laps of the Circuit de Catalunya.
Red Bull race team personnel were out in force at the track today as the team aimed to get through simulations of a race weekend third practice session, qualifying, and a full race distance.
“Generally it was good today and we got through almost everything we wanted to,” said Ian Morgan, Head of Race Engineering. “We had a few small problems, such as an issue with a heat shield. But that's why we do these tests, to iron out any little problems, and generally the simulations went well.”
Mark Webber will be in the car tomorrow when the team will attempt to run a similar programme.
