Paint Perfect Motorsport have enlisted reigning Michelin Clio Cup Road Series champion Anton Spires as a driver coach for the 2015 season.
The Lincoln-based outfit return to the Road class of the Clio Series for a second season with driver John Creasey following a busy winter rebuilding their Clio Renaultsport 197.
After a shakedown at Blyton Park, the team got some testing miles under their belts at Rockingham, the venue for the opening rounds of the 2015 season, with Spires behind the wheel.
“We’re very pleased to announce Anton will be working with the team throughout the new Michelin Clio Cup Road Series season,” said Creasey.
“We are delighted to have him on board and feel his proven talent and knowledge will be extremely valuable to the team as we look to make good progress this season.”
“I’m looking forward to working with John and everyone at the team this year, the aim is to transfer my knowledge of the car to him and hopefully see John become a consistent front-runner by the end of the season,” added Spires.
“I’ll be trying to show him what the car can do and get some good data to work from as well. It’ll be good for me to still be involved with the championship.”
