Fuoco to make F1 test bow in Austria

1 Mins read

GP3 Series racer Antonio Fuoco will make his Formula 1 test debut in the post-Austrian Grand Prix test at the Red Bull Ring.

The Italian driver will take control of the Scuderia Ferrari SF15-T on the opening day of the test on Tuesday, before handing the car over to regular test driver Esteban Gutierrez on the Wednesday.

Fuoco is a part of the Ferrari Driver Academy, and follows in the footsteps of previous FDA members to test for the Italian team, such as Jules Bianchi and most recently Raffaele Marciello.

He currently races for the Carlin team in GP3, and after the first round of the season in Spain back in early May sits seventh in the championship having finished fourth in race two.
