In 2009, Grosjean made his F1 début with Renault, before going on to drive for Lotus from the 2012 to 2015 seasons. After being impressed by the ambitions and approach to the sport, Grosjean opted to switch to the newly formed Haas F1 squad.

Grosjean also finished in fifth for the team in the Bahrain Grand Prix, two weeks after his sensationally points in their début race.

Grosjean is adding his name to a long list of expert motorsport professionals to serve as an Online Instructor including F1 World Champion Jenson Button, Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti and Le Mans winner Nico Hulkenberg.
