Racecar Live! taking place at Brands Hatch on 21/22 November is a unique motor sport event aimed at current and potential racing drivers.
So if you think you’re the next Jenson Button or Lewis Hamilton but don’t have a clue where to start, you should start here!
This year sees the biggest line up of manufacturers and race organisers than previous years, with highlights including the Trofeo Abarth 500 GB championship.
The series launched in October with the aim to create a platform “where all the stakeholders can grow together with particular attention paid to the package offered to the competitors and the marketing and technical side of the championship.”
Faze 1 Motorsport will be in attendance with a 911 Cup car, a 911 GT3, a 911SC a 968CS and a 944 S2, this will be an ideal opportunity to those who want some tuition in these cars.
For the first time entry level karting will be demonstrated on track, giving visitors the chance to see and understand entry level classes for both adults and children.
Demonstrations will alternate with arrive-and-drive sessions organised by Buckmore Park who manage the kart circuit at Brands Hatch.
If you fancy driving on the day and hold a full DVLA license and have driven on a track before you will have the opportunity to drive a variety of cars on the Indie Circuit.
You can also take your ARDS test and get a medical examination to complete your MSA license.
If you fancy experiencing a high speed lap of the Brands Hatch circuit there will also be the chance for you be a passenger in a ‘hot ride’, just turn up, pay the fee and feel the need for speed!
For those looking for an education in the motor industry there will be a variety of colleges at the event with information on on gaining qualifications, apprenticeships and scholarships.
