The Ferrari World Finals are officially underway after a special free practice session, allowing participants to learn the track ahead of the weekend.
The event has been held since 1994 and takes place over four days, with the World Title being fought for in three series; Italia, Europe and North America.
Races include the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the finals of the Shell Historic Challenge, and the shows with the participants in the international GT competitions, celebrating important results in 2009.
Special appearences from historic Ferrai Formula 1 cars are also on the menu, but purely in a non-competitive way.
Marc Gene kicked things off yesterday, leading the street parade driving the world championship winning F2008.
