F3 National Runners West-Tec Gain Backers

1 Mins read

British Formula 3 National runners Team West-Tec have announced that they have agreed an extended relationship with lubricants manufacturer Motul.

The striking livery was introduced to the F3 paddock last year, and will be back on the teams two cars for the upcoming season.

Team member John Miller said that the extended deal with Motul will be a great boost for the team – “We are absolutely delighted to be able to continue and build our successful team sponsorship with Motul, as it is truly one of motorsport’s iconic brands.”

The team are looking forward to the season and being able to use their new sponsors products on their cars with Miller adding “It allows us to keep driver budgets to a minimum and also provides us with Motul’s superb range of products, as well as analysis and laboratory facilities to allow us to maximise performance on track.”

Gareth Burnett, spokesman for Motul's British importer, Pace Products commented on the announcement, “Last year we decided to start a new programme with Team West-Tec, with an eye on a good, long-term relationship. Therefore it was only natural to continue and expand on that relationship for 2010, when we look forward to seeing the team add to their record.”

Motul's Romain Fabre also commented on the announcement, “We were very pleased to start our association with Team West-Tec in 2009 and the cars looked fantastic with the Motul logos. We are looking forward to seeing them race to success in 2010.”

The Team West-Tec cars will be out at the season opener at Oulton Park on the 3rd to 5th April, the first chance to see the Motul liveried cars.
