Alguersuari happy with incident-free day

1 Mins read

Jaime Alguersuari was one of three Spanish drivers participating in today's test at Barcelona today, a session which attracted many spectators.

The driver gave his fans plenty to watch, completing 111 laps, which was more than any other driver. Toro Rosso spent the morning concentrating on set-up work for the STR5, and spent the afternoon evaluating a new braking system. The team used only the soft Bridgestone compound for the entire day.

Alguersuari was pleased with another incident-free day. “It was encouraging to have another trouble free day, completing a high mileage. We learned a lot doing long runs on the Soft compound tyre and I'm looking forward to tackling a different programme tomorrow.”

It is the final day of testing for Alguersuari tomorrow, with Sebastian Buemi taking over on Saturday and Sunday.
