Swiss Jean-Denis Delatraz has been named by Hexis AMR as their second driver for this year's GT1 World Championship alongside Frederic Makowiecki.
It marks the French based team's first forays into the top class of GT racing, having previously competed in the GT3 European Championship.
Delatraz, who also brings his personal sponsor, Swiss Foreign Exchange company – ACM.ch – to the team along with years of experience in endurance racing headlined by two Le Mans class wins in the old LMP675 cars and a win in the 2007 Spa 24 Hours.
The driving line-up for the team's second DBRS9 is yet to be announced.
However, the team also unveiled their first driver pairing for the GT3 Series, where the team will continue.
Once more the driving staff is lead by Frenchman Makowiecki as he continues his partnership with business man and racer Manuel Rodrigues, whose Collegien based roofing company will continue as the teams backer.
Like the GT1 team the drivers for the second car have not been named, as the team tries to defend the GT3 teams' title it won last year.
