Peugeot have unveiled a massive line-up for their 2010 sports car program, which is due to kick off at Sebring for the annual 12 Hour race in March.
Anthony Davidson, Marc Gene and Alexander Wurz line up in the #7 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP with Sebastien Bourdais, Pedro Lamy and Nicolas Minassian in the sister #8 car for the opening race of the American Le Mans Series.
The French manufacturer hasn’t been resting on it’s laurels since it’s stunning Le Mans 24 Hour victory in June 2009, completing eleven test sessons consisting on endurance runs, set-up work and two races.
Peugeot aim to maximise their chances of keeping the 24 hour crown by running a total of 3 works 908 HDi FAP cars with a fourth being run by Hugues de Chaunac’s Oreca team, who will also be taking part in a full Le Mans Series season.
The Peugeot #1 car will see the same line up as the #7 car at Sebring, with the #2 car being lead by Nicolas Minassian partnered by Franck Montagny and Stephane Sarrazin. The #3 car will be piloted by Sebastien Bordais, Pedro Lamy and Simon Pagenaud.
Christian Klien will act as a reserve driver for the Le Mans 24 Hour race.
Peugeot are due to take part in the following races:
March 18-20: Sebring 12 Hours (American Le Mans Series)
May 7-9 : Spa-Francorchamps 1000km (Le Mans Series)
June 6-13: Le Mans 24 Hours
September 10-12 : Silverstone 1000km (Le Mans Series / Intercontinental Le Mans Cup)
November 12-14: Shanghai (Intercontinental Le Mans Cup) – TBC
