Swiss team Rebellion Racing completed a shakedown test for its new for 2010 Lola-Rebellion LMP1 Race cars, and will carry out private tests on the cars next week in Portugal and Spain.
The team will unveil their new cars to the public and to the media on the 7-8 March at the Le Mans test days, to be held at the Paul Ricard track in France.
The test of the new Lola B10/60 occurred at a very cold, wet and snowy Snetterton in Norfolk, where the cars covered 30 laps. Two of the team's drivers, Jean-Christophe Boullion and Nicholas Prost were present for the session.
The development tests for the team will start in warmer climates – at the Portimao circuit in the Algarve on the 17-18 of February before moving on to the Spanish track of Monteblanco, near Seville, on the 20-21 February. All the teams' drivers will be present at the Spanish test with Jean-Christophe Boullion and Andrea Belicchi taking to the track in one of the cars, while Nicholas Prost will be partnered by Neel Jani in the other.
After the Portuguese and Spanish tests, the team will head to Paul Ricard for the Le Mans Series Test Days where the Lola-Rebellion cars and drivers will be presented to the media.
The team are looking forward to upcoming track time in the Lola-Rebellion with the drivers relishing the opportunity to unlock the cars potential.
