Sebring will see a strong showing of 27 cars hit the track in two weeks time for the official American Le Mans Series Sebring Winter Test, with Two LMP1s, three LMP2s, eleven GT2s, five LMPCs and six GTCs gaining track time ahead of the season opener a month later.
LMP1 sees Jon and Clint Field in the Intersport Racing Lola B06/10 AER alongside the Aston Martin Racing Lola of Chris Buncombe, Harold Primat, Adrian Fernandez and Stefan Mücke. Neither Peugeot or Audi are due to present at the test.
LMP2 will feature the new Patrón Highcroft Racing HPD ARX-01c with it’s three drivers David Brabham, Simon Pagenaud and Marino Franchitti. Out on track will be Team Cythosport with thir Porsche RS Spyder of Pickett and Graf, also out on track the Dyson Racing Team with C h taking the wheel.
GT2 has a number of teams committed to the test with drivers still to be announced including the BMW E92 M3’s of Rahal Letterman. Jaguar RSR will be in attendance with one car with driving duties shared between Tomy Drissi, Paul Gentilozzi, Marc Goossens and Scott Pruett.
Corvette Motorsports aren’t expected to attend the test but are due to be testing this weekend at Sepang with Oliver Gavin Oliver Beretta and new addition Emmanuel Collard.
Two new classes will feature at the test with five LMPC’s and six GTC’s.
