Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Eastern Europe Kicks Off

Last weekend saw the first official test session of the new Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Eastern Europe as the drivers took the opportunity to experience their new cars around the Istanbul Park Circuit.

During the test drivers worked on setups and data recording along with checking out the new Pirelli tyres the cars will run on this season.

Saturday 3 April sees the opening race of the season around the Istanbul Park Circuit with the long-term target being to establish a sustainable motor sports platform.

Organiser Karsten Molitor spoke about the test, “We are very confident with the course of the first and official test days.”

“This has also been a test for the whole organization, to evaluate some final details in regards to our first race. he added.

The Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Easter Europe will take part over eight weekends and fourteen races visiting Istanbul Park Circuit, Izmir Autodrom Circtui, Brno, Serres and one location to be confirmed.
