Mike Conway Joins Andretti Autosport

1 Mins read

Englishman Mike Conway has joined the Andretti Autosport team to compete in the 2011 Indycar championship. Conway, who suffered a broken leg and back injuries following his horrendous crash at last year’s Indy 500, is pleased to be back in the fray.

“This is a really exciting moment in my career to be racing for Andretti Autosport. It’s going to be an honor working with some great people and great teammates, and I can’t wait to get started. Everyone is fired up, especially me, and I'm ready for the challenge ahead. I can’t wait to hit the track and start achieving some great results.”

The former Dreyer & Reinbold driver joins the four team Andretti squad with Danica Patrick, Marco Andretti and Ryan Hunter-Reay as his team mates. Conway’s best result so far in Indycar is a 3rd place at Sonoma.
