Perez Brothers To Demonstrate F1 and NASCAR Machinery In Guadalajara

1 Mins read

Sergio Perez, who begins his first season in Formula 1 in little over a month, will take to the streets of  his home city of Guadalajara on Saturday in one of last year’s Sauber F1 cars.

The 21-year-old Mexican will put in some demonstration runs along a 1.5 kilometre-long street circuit around the historic centre of this city of 1.5 milllion inhabitants.

Perez will be joined by brother Antonio and German Quiroga, who will be demonstrating their NASCAR racers.

“Mexico is hugely excited about the coming season,” said Perez, “and it's great we can offer the people an event like this in the run-up to it. It will bring the whole thing to life for them by letting them see, feel and hear what Formula One is all about. And for me it's a small way to express my thanks to the people for their support.”
